Davenport, FL – Baseball split a two-game day with Anna Maria College on day nine of their annual spring trip. The final scores were 1-10 and 8-3 on Saturday, March 15
th, 2025.

Game One:
How it Happened:
- The Amcats got on the scoreboard early, scoring four runs in the first inning.
- The Terriers were unable to respond in the second, as the Amcats took a 10-0 lead in the third inning.
- Past the third inning the Terriers played well defensively, not allowing the Amcats any runs in the remaining four innings.
- In the fifth inning a single from Mitch Regan and an error soon after led to Regan making his way to home plate, scoring the only Terrier run of the game.
- Wyatt Thompson had a solid appearance on the mound for the Terriers, coming in later in the game and pitching three innings - only allowing one run.

Game Two:
How it Happened:
- Much how game one ended, the Terriers and Amcats were locked in a draw through the first three innings of game two.
- Jarrad Willette was a key part of keeping the Amcats off the scoreboard and came out of the gate well.
- The Terriers struck first in the fourth inning, thanks to two sacrifice flys from Gavin Clark and Jason Bartlett.
- DJ Cagnina and Jandre Rivera-Caraballo both took advantage and scored to make it 2-0.
- The Amcats were able to almost immediately respond, getting four hits in the bottom of the fourth to make it 3-2.
- Rivera-Caraballo would take matters into his own hands in the fifth inning, scoring a grand slam home run after singles from Elijah Morton and Hayden Dippner to make it 6-3.
- The Terriers would tack on another run in the 6th inning, with Morton sending a single to bring home Javier Diaz, making it 7-3.
- In the 7th inning the Terriers would once again score, this time thanks to a defensive error to make it 8-3.
- The Terriers walked away with an 8-3 win in game two thanks in large part to Rivera-Caraballo and Willette's impressive pitching performance.
