How it Happened:

• The Saints got off to a strong start, scoring a combined three runs in the first two innings.
• The Terriers responded with two runs of their own in the fourth inning.
• A walk to Elijah Morton with bases loaded scored Jandre Rivera-Caraballo to make it 1-3.
• Hayden Dippner, the next batter, was hit by a pitch, and that scored Jason Bartlett to make it 2-3.
• The Terriers would tack on another run in the fifth inning to tie things at 3-3 when Cam Haynes scored after a ground out.
• The Saints responded with a combined three runs in the fifth and seventh innings to make it 3-6.
• Meza would send a solo home run past the left fence field in the eighth inning to give the Terriers hope, making it 4-6.
• However, the Saints would double down, scoring four more runs in the eighth inning to hand the Terriers a 4-10 loss.
