Samantha Thebarge was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III All-Region Second Team after a dominant season for the Terriers.
Thebarge, a junior midfielder and defender, had yet another strong season. She contributing heavily on both the offensive and defensive ends, often switching between the two as needed. Thebarge was on the field for nearly every minute, posting 13 goals, five assists, and a defensive save. She is also a crucial part of the Terriers' penalty-corner units on both sides of the field, where she regularly capitalizes on scoring opportunities. For her efforts this season Thebarge also earned several honors through the Central Maine Collegiate Field Hockey Conference. She earned CMCFHC Co-Defensive Player of the Year, was named to the CMCFHC All-Conference Team, as well as the CMCFHC All-Tournament Team. Throughout the season Thebarge was a consistent contributor, winning CMCFHC Player of the Week (10/14/25), and CMCFHC Defensive Player of the Week (10/27/25). Thebarge also hit an incredible milestone this season for the Terriers, earning her 100th career point in a 7-0 win over the University of Maine Farmington in the CMCFHC Semifinals.
Thebarge helped lead the Terriers to their best single season record in program history, going 14-6 overall and 3-1 in conference play. The team would go on to make it to the CMCFHC Championship game against Husson University, highlighting a extremely successful season. Thebarge will look to help the team improve even more heading into next season.
