Danville, KY - Men's Basketball traveled to Danville, Kentucky over the holiday break to take part in the Lee's Classic tournament hosted by Centre College. How it Happened:
- Centre College would claim the early lead to open the 1st half, but buckets on back to back possessions from TJ Blackmon would get the Terriers offense going shortly after.
- The Colonels would hold a 16-4 lead midway through 1st half, but a strong finish in the paint from Blackmon and made jumper Isaiah Godley would look to give the Terriers offense some momentum.
- Points from Nate Hebert and Faron Cureton would make it an 11-28 game minutes later.
- Cole Perkins and Payton Mitchell would close out the half with strong finishes in the paint, but the Terriers would find themselves down 21-41 heading into the half.
- Despite a rough 1st half, the Terriers would continue to battle coming out of halftime with quick buckets from Godley and Blackmon.
- But Centre College would continue to keep pace shortly after with a scoring run of their own.
- The Terriers would complete a 10-0 run midway through the second thanks to points from Blackmon and Ibramhim Doumboya.
