Waterville, ME – Five fall student-athletes broke a record for most conference Rookie of the Year awards in a single season in school history. Gigi Bhagat, Tristan Hughes, Eliya Drummond, Shafi Ibrahim, and Addison Lebel all earned rookie honors this fall. This is the first time since 2014 that a single school had at least four separate student-athletes earn NAC Rookie of the Year awards in the fall season.

Gigi Bhagat was selected as the 2025 NAC Women's Tennis Rookie of the Year and earned spots on the All-Conference First Team in singles and Second Team in doubles after an impressive debut season. She posted a 5–1 record in both singles and No. 2 doubles play. The Pueblo, Colorado native went 2–1 at No. 2 singles and 3–0 in the No. 3 position, finishing with an outstanding 11–1 overall singles record and a 9–2 mark in doubles. Bhagat also secured a place on the 2025 NAC All-Tournament Team for the Terriers.

Tristan Hughes capped off his debut season with the Terriers by being named the 2025 NAC Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Year. The Searsmont, Maine native was the first freshman to cross the finish line at the 2025 NAC Championship, placing sixth overall with a time of 28:56.51. His championship performance earned him NAC First Team All-Conference recognition. Hughes also collected one NAC Rookie of the Week award during the season and recorded two additional top 10 finishes: seventh at the Thomas College Invitational and eighth at the NAC Preview Race.

Eliya Drummond delivered one of the strongest debut seasons in the Field Hockey program's history, earning CMCFHC Goalkeeper of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and All-Conference Team honors. Drummond allowed just 13 goals all season while posting a 10–5 overall record, recording 71 saves, and finishing with an impressive .816 save percentage. Her steady presence in net and ability to make clutch stops were key factors in the team securing the best record in program history.

Shafi Ibrahim wrapped up his debut season as the 2025 NAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Year, establishing himself as a central force in Thomas College's regular-season success. In conference play, he recorded 10 goals, six assists, 26 points, and four game-winning goals. Across 19 regular-season matches, Ibrahim scored 15 goals and seven assists for 37 points—leading all NAC first-year players and ranking among national leaders. Within the NAC, he is tied for first in goals and game-winning goals (5) and sits second in shots on goal per game (1.57). Nationally, he ranks second among first years in total points (15th overall) and in goals (tied for 14th overall). Ibrahim also earned NAC Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors twice during the season.

Addison Lebel earned NAC Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Year honors after an impressive debut campaign. In conference play, she recorded 67 kills with a .221 hitting percentage, 11 service aces, 37 digs, and 14 blocks—10 of them solo. A dominant presence in the front row, Lebel led the Terriers with 162 total kills and ranked fourth in the NAC in overall hitting percentage. She posted five double-digit kill performances throughout the season, including a season-high 13 against Western New England early in the year.
