How it Happened:
- The Terriers would get off to a slow start in the first, with the Minutemen taking a 0-2 lead late in the period.
- Despite trailing after one period of play, Terriers goalkeeper Matt D'Ortona would finish the first period with 10 saves.
- The Terriers would look to build some momentum in the second period with three power-play opportunities, but would be unable to capitalize on any of them.
- D'Ortona would keep the Minutemen off the board in the second, finishing the period with 11 saves.
- Heading into the third period, the Terriers looked to chip away at their deficit, but a goal from the Minutemen midway through the third period would put them down 0-3.
- Despite their strong effort, the Minutemen goaltender would shut down all attacking opportunities in the third period, handing the Terriers a 0-3 loss at home.
