10/25/2026 11:57:00 AM

Bolton, CT - Men's Ice Hockey opened up a two game road trip with a dominant performance against the University of Connecticut Club on Saturday, October 24th, 2026. The Terriers now move to 3-0 on the season after a huge 6-1 win.

How it Happened:
  • Hunter Coughlin got things going early in the first period with a shot that beat the opposing goaltender, who was screened on the shot, while Tyler Gay and Kyle Charbonneau assisted.
  • Five minutes later it was Gay that ripped a shot into the net, with assists coming from Devon Fay and Coughlin.
  • UConn made some noise with a goal at the 8:56 mark, and that's how the period would end, 2-1.
  • Early in the second period Filip Nyberg tipped a shot from the point set up by Perron and Quinn Hawley to make it 3-0.
  • Minutes later it was Perron that finished on a beautiful set from Colton Kozma and Caleb Micklon, sending the Terriers into the break up 4-1.
  • The third period was similar to the second as the Terriers just kept running at the Huskies.
  • Quinn Hawley made it 5-1 just four minutes into the third (Perron and McClatchy assists), and Ian McClatchy closed the scoring firing a shot from the point, assisted by Micklon and Perron.
  • Head Men's Ice Hockey Coach Joey Waraskevich had this to say about the team's result. "We had one let down in the second half of the first period. We addressed it and as they have early on this season, the entire team responded with a tremendous effort. We have plenty to work on but are pleased with tonight's performance as a whole."

What's Next:
  • Men's Ice Hockey will be back in action when they travel to take on Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, on Sunday, October 25th, 2026. Start time is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
