Waterville, ME - Men's Soccer came up short in a second half comeback bid against the University of New England Nor'easters in a home matchup on Saturday, October 4th, 2025. The final score was 1-2.

How it Happened:

• The Terriers started the game on a roll, forcing three good saves from the Nor'easters goalkeeper in the first eight minutes.
• It was soon after the Nor'easters began to find their foot in the game, and a team save in the 24th minute from the Terriers kept it 0-0.
• In the 30th minute the Nor'easters scored their first goal after a direct free kick found the back of the net.
• The Nor'easters doubled their lead four minutes later, taking a 2-0 lead.
• Heading into the second half both teams traded shots on goal early on, with Terrier goalkeeper Caleb Russo forced to make a few good saves.
• As the half went on the Terriers improved, earning more possession and denying the Nor'easters any clean looks on goal.
• In the 79th minute the Terriers were awarded a penalty kick, and Micky Woodrow fired the ball in the net to make it 1-2.
• Despite a late push from the Terriers in the final 11 minutes, their comeback bid came up just short, and ended in a 1-2 loss.
