Middlebury, VT - Men's Soccer fell to a nationally recognized program in Middlebury College in an away contest on Sunday, October 5th, 2025. The final score was 1-7.

How it Happened:

• The Terriers got off to a terrific start, with David Ivarsson finding Shafi Ibrahim, who scored to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead one minute in.
• Middlebury responded with a mountain of pressure, with Jamie Fischer making several good saves to help keep the lead.
• In the 12th minute Middlebury found a breakthrough, tying things at 1-1.
• Despite several more good saves from Fischer, Middlebury scored in the 27th minute and 35th minute from a penalty kick to make it 1-3.
• With less than four minutes remaining in the first half Cody Robinson forced a shot that forced a save from the Middlebury goalkeeper.
• Headed into the second half Middlebury continued to put on pressure, scoring in the 51st and 55th minute to make it 1-5.
• Two more late goals buried the Terriers, making the final score 1-7.
• Fischer was excellent again in the second half, making 11 saves in the final 45 minutes.
