Waterville, ME - David Ivarsson, Tre Burgess, and Shafi Ibrahim all earned North Atlantic Conference weekly awards for the week of October 24th, 2025. The Terriers went 1-0-1 last week, earning a hard-fought 3-3 draw against Husson University on Wednesday, then defeating the University of Maine Presque Isle on Saturday 6-0.

David Ivarsson was named the NAC's Co-Player of the Week after also earning NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Player of the Week through TopDrawerSoccer. Ivarsson scored once and assisted once in the 3-3 tie against Husson on Wednesday and followed up with another assist in only 47 minutes played against UMPI. Ivarsson's performances this week helped the team clinch the #1 seed and home field advantage in the 2025 North Atlantic Conference Tournament.

Tre Burgess was named the NAC's Defensive Player of the Week and excellent for the Terriers this past week from the fullback position. On Wednesday against Husson Burgess provided the assist on the opening goal, a perfect long cross into Ivarsson to take the lead. Burgess broke up several attacking plays from the Eagles for the remainder of the game and played all 90 minutes. On Saturday against UMPI Burgess assisted the first goal yet again from the defensive position, tracking up field to play a perfect pass to Ibrahim.

Shafi Ibrahim was named to the NAC's Honor Roll after two solid performances against Husson and UMPI. Ibrahim played an important role in creating attacking opportunties against Husson, and scored the game's two goals against UMPI on Saturday to clinch the #1 seed in the NAC Tournament.

Men's Soccer will be back in action on Saturday, November 1st, when they take on the winner of #4 Maine Maritime Academy and #5 University of Maine Farmington at home. Kick off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
