Men's Soccer Claims NAC #1 Seed in 6-0 Win Against UMPI

Presque Isle, ME - Men's Soccer claimed the North Atlantic Conference #1 seed after a 6-0 win against the University of Maine Presque Isle on Saturday, October 25th, 2025.

How it Happened:
  • The Terriers were rolling to start, scoring three goals in the first 13 minutes.
  • In the seventh minute Shafi Ibrahim scored to make it 1-0.
  • Ibrahim struck again two minutes later thanks to an assist from T'syi Showers.
  • In the 12th minute Showers found Jeremiah Gomez, who scored to make it 3-0.
  • The Terriers were dominant on both sides of the ball, forcing several saves from the Owls goalkeeper.
  • In the 24th minute the Terriers were awarded a penalty kick, and Micky Woodrow burried the shot to make it 4-0.
  • With two minutes to go until the half, an Owl player was given a red card for an intentional handball, leading to a penalty kick opportunity.
  • Kevroy Spence stepped up and scored, giving the Terriers a 5-0 lead at halftime.
  • The Terriers continued to roll into the second half, forcing the Owls goalkeeper to make four solid stops in the first 15 minutes.
  • Despite some key opportunties the Owls goalkeeper continued to work hard, not allowing a goal until the 76th minute.
  • David Ivarsson sent a pass through to Zayin Clugh, who scored to make it 6-0.
  • The Terriers continued to dominate the game, but all attempts on goal were either wide, blocked, or saved.
  • With three minutes remaining the Owls were given another red card, and the Terriers would eventually go on to secure the 6-0 win.

  • With today's win, Men's Soccer has earned the #1 overall seed in the 2025 North Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer playoff tournament. The team will have a first round bye, then host the winner of #4 Maine Maritime Academy and #5 University of Maine Farmington on Saturday, November 1st. Game time is TBD.
