Waterville, ME - Men's Soccer earned a hard-fought 3-3 draw against Husson University at home on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025. The final score was 3-3 with playoff implications looming. With the draw, if Men's Soccer wins or draws on Saturday against the University of Maine Presque Isle, they will earn the #1 overall seed in the North Atlantic Conference.
How it Happened:
	- In a playoff-style atmosphere to start, the Terriers struck first in the third minute.
- Ordi Bimvy played the ball down the right hand side to Tre Burgess, who's pass found David Ivarsson in front of goal, scoring to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
- Jamie Fischer was called into action shortly after, making two good saves to preserve the Terrier lead.
- In the 34th minute the Eagles were awarded a penalty kick, and converted to make it 1-1.
- Just six minutes later the Eagles scored a long-range goal to make it 2-1.
- The Eagles had another chance in the 43rd minute, but Fischer made an incredible quick-reflex save to his right, keeping things at 2-1 headed into halftime.
- Both teams traded chances early in the second half, with shots from Shafi Ibrahim and Micky Woodrow helping to create momentum.
- The Terriers found the tying goal in the 69th minute after a bouncing ball from Ivarsson and Woodrow found Daud Abdi, who headed the ball in to make it 2-2.
- Just three minutes later an error from the Eagle goalkeeper saw Cody Robinson score from a deflection, taking a 3-2 lead.
- With 10 minutes left to play the Eagles were awarded a free kick, and the ensuing shot was perfectly placed in the right corner, tying the game at three.
- Shots from Andrew Hodgins and Bimvy in the final few minutes were saved and just wide, making the final score 3-3.
