How it Happened:
  • Sky Kubwalo would get the Terriers on the board early in the first, but a 7-0 run from the Lynx midway through the first would give Lesley the momentum.
  • The Terriers would be quick to respond to the Lynx scoring run with a 11-0 run of their own, with Pryelle Kesse-Beda, Holly Loring and Elena Alderman contributing to put the Terriers ahead late in the first.
  • Sarah Davis would close the first quarter with a late three-pointer to put the Terriers ahead 15-7 after ten minutes of play.
  • The Lynx would look to regain momentum early in the second quarter with a quick scoring run to cut into the Terriers lead.
  • But the Terriers would respond once again with an 8-0 run midway through the second quarter to give Thomas a 12 point lead.
  • The Lynx would continue to try and cut into the Terriers lead late in the second, but seven quick points from Gray and a late bucket in the paint from Kubwalo would help put the Terriers ahead 32-21 heading into the half.
  •  Gray and Mariah Roberts would continue to attack the Lynx defense early in the third, combining for eleven points in the opening minutes of the second half.
  •  The Lynx would go on a late scoring run in the third, but the Terriers would head into the fourth quarter with a 46-33 lead.
  • The Terriers would continue to pressure the Lynx defense in the fourth, with Kubwalo, Kesse-Beda and Alderman each scoring in the opening minutes of the quarter.
  • Despite the Lynx comeback efforts, the Terriers would ultimately take control of the remainder of the quarter to pick up a 58-46 North Atlantic Conference victory over Lesley.
