Castine, ME – Women's Volleyball fell to Maine Maritime Academy by a 0-3 match score in their 2024 North Atlantic Conference opener on Wednesday, September 25
th, 2024.

Thomas College: Overall (0-8), NAC (1-0)
How it Happened:
- The Terriers were able to capitalize on kills from Marissa Cates, Einy Mendez, Sariah Putnam, and Jordan Child, jumping out to an 8-4 lead early in the first set.
- The Mariners then rallied back, tying things back up at 13-13.
- The Mariners then scored the final points of the set, making it 0-1 for a match score.
- Once again both teams traded points to begin the second set, with the score being tied at 14-14 thanks to some strong play for the Terriers.
- The Mariners then pulled away, going on a 6-1 run to end the set to take a 2-0 advantage.
- The Mariners continued where they left off, jumping out to an 11-4 third set lead.
- Despite the best efforts of the Terriers the Mariners took the third set by a score of 25-13, winning the match 3-0 over the Terriers.
