  • With three minutes left to play in the opening quarter the Monks had a penalty corner which led to a good save from Terrier goalkeeper Elise Syphers.
  • Both teams traded chances in the beginning of the second quarter, and Syphers had to come up big again with an impressive double save to prevent the Monks from taking the lead.
  • With just under five minutes to go before halftime Maci Freeman was able to capitalize off of a penalty corner and scored her first collegiate goal to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
  • The Terriers used this momentum to generate three good looks on goal in the closing minutes of the first half, but none could find the back of the net.

  • The Terriers would eventually find themselves up 2-0 going into the fourth quarter.
  • Two and a half minutes into the final quarter Reny sent a pass to Hilary Howard, who scored to make it 3-0.
