Cambridge, MA – Thomas College Baseball dropped both games in their Saturday doubleheader against the Lesley University Lynx. Game one ended with a score of 3-7 followed by 4-14 in game two.

How it Happened:
Game 1
- The first run on the board came from a solo Lesley home run in the bottom of the first.
- A quick second inning for both teams went by before one more Lynx run was earned after an RBI single to center field.
- A big fourth inning put Lesley up 7-0 after four hits and one Thomas error.
- The Terriers earned their first run in the fifth inning after Tony Meza singled to left field scoring Elijah Morton, who hit a double to center earlier.
- A quick shutout inning helped bring momentum in the Terrier dugout as they added two more runs in the sixth inning. Samuel Keblinsky reached first on a single up the middle. DJ Cagnina advanced him to third after a double down the left field line. A wild pitch brought in Keblinsky. Jason Bartlett then hit a sac fly to center scoring Cagnina.
- The Terriers were unable to keep the game alive in the seventh inning, final score 7-3 Lesley.
Inside the Stats:
Game 2
- The Terriers were the first on the board in game two, scoring three runs in the first inning. Morton started off the inning with a single to right center. He moved to third after a single by Meza. Morton was able to score off a Lynx fielder's choice error on Cam Haynes hit. Keblinsky hit a sac fly to right field, easily bringing in Meza. Haynes scored the final run of the inning off a wild pitch.
- The next run wasn't scored until the fourth inning, when the Terriers scored Aaron Young off an RBI Single by Dippner.
- The Lynx had a big fifth inning scoring six runs off seven hits, including 3 doubles.
- Lesley continued to add runs in the sixth inning, after three hits scored three runs, bringing the score to 9-4 Lesley.
- The Terriers almost brought runs in at the top of the seventh with runners at second and third, but could not get anyone across.
- Lesley continued their rally in the seventh inning scoring four more runs, this time off four hits and two Thomas errors.
- The final Lynx run was added in the eighth inning. The game ended at the top of nine as the Terriers could not get a late rally going. Final score 14-4, Lesley

- Dippner, 2 hits, 1 RBI, 1 walk.
- Garrison Paillet started on the mound for the Terriers pitching just over four innings. Zach Nickerson came in mid fifth inning and pitch through the sixth. He ended with three strikeouts. Wyatt Thompson pitched the seventh inning while Nick Barber wrapped up the game for the Terriers, pitching the eighth.

The Terriers stay in Cambridge, Mass to play Lesley University in the final two games of the four games series at 12 and 3pm.
