Revere, Massachusetts – The Terriers started off with a strong 10-3 against their NAC opponent, Eastern Nazarene College. Then a huge fifth inning helped put the Lions over the edge winning 9-0 over the Terriers.

How it Happened:
Game 1
- The Lions won the first inning in game one after bringing in two runs after two singles and a double.
- The Terriers were able to split the Lions lead in half after the throw on a drop third strike play brought in Kayla Duhaime, Duhaime had the only hit of the inning.
- After keeping the Lions to no runs in the second inning, Thomas was able to start expanding their lead in the third. Leah Knight started off the inning by singling to left field, a second single to left by Megan Oberholzer advanced Knight to second. Jeannie Whitten then put the ball in play causing a Lions error scoring Knight. A two run RBI triple by Duhaime brought in both Oberholzer and Whitten to bring the score to 4-2 Thomas.
- Eastern Nazarene brought in their final run of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning after an RBI single up the middle.
- After two errors by the Lions Thomas added two more runs to make the score 6-3.
- Then in the top of the seventh inning, 4 more Thomas runs scored off four hits from Whitten, Katy McIntyre, Abby Farone, and Duhaime taking an extra base. Two of the four runs were unearned due to two Lions errors. Final score 10-3, Thomas.

Addy Boyce; Pitched a full 7 innings, walked 1 batter, struck out 1.
Game 2
- A slow start in game two came from both sides as only 1 hit came from each team in the first and second innings.
- The Lions scored their first run in the third inning after an RBI single.
- The Terriers had an opportunity to score in the top of the fourth inning after Makayla Panich who reached on a fielder's choice made her way to third base, but unfortunately the Terriers were unable to get her across the plate.
- Thomas again found themselves with two runners on in the fifth inning, but a line drive hit right to the Lions center fielder ended the inning.
- In the bottom of the fifth the Lions would score 8 runs off five hits and two Thomas errors. The final two runs came from a walk-off home run to end the game.

Whitten; pitched five innings striking out two batters and walking only two.
