Waterville, Maine – Terrier's Women's basketball would take on the University of Maine Farmington Beavers in their first conference matchup of the season, and would take a 72-60 win on Wednesday, December 4th.

How it Happened: 

• The Terriers would jump out to an early 9-6 lead in the first quarter, with points from Sky Kubwalo, Pryelle Kesse-Beda and Elena Alderman. 

• Mariah Roberts and Annabelle Morris would knock down free throws near the end of the first quarter to put the Terriers up 12-10 after ten minutes of play. 

• The Terriers would look to maintain momentum early in the second quarter with an early three-pointer from Roberts. 

• But the Beavers would find some momentum of their own and would take a two-point lead midway through the second quarter. 

• The Terriers would close out the second quarter with late points from Kubwalo, Morris and Bri Benecke to give Thomas a 29-25 lead at the half. 

• The Beavers would start the second half strong, taking a 3-point lead midway through the third quarter. 

• Alderman and Mollie Gray would take control of the Terriers offense late in the third, combining for 13 points in the final 5 minutes of the quarter to help put the Terriers up 51-49 with ten minutes to play. 
• Kubwalo, Kesse-Beda and Yaribel Pena would hit key shots early in the fourth, helping the Terriers go on a 9-3 run in the first three minutes of the quarter.
• The Terriers would take control of the fourth quarter on both ends of the floor, outscoring the Beavers 21-11 to pick up their first North Atlantic Conference win of the season by a score of 72-60 against the Beavers.
