Delhi, NY – Men's Soccer were crowned the 2024 North Atlantic Conference Champions after defeating the SUNY Delhi Broncos by a score of 2-0 on Saturday, November 9
th, 2024.

How it Happened:
- Cody Robinson got the Terriers off to a quick start, generating a shot on goal that needed to be saved by the Broncos goalkeeper two minutes in.
- The Broncos responded with a shot on goal of their own minutes later, forcing a good save from Terrier goalkeeper Jamie Fischer.
- In the 11th minute David Ivarsson was able to beat a defender on the right wing, and sent in a cross to Robinson, who headed the ball into the net to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Terriers would keep up the attacking pressure, taking five shots over the next five minutes.
- In the 33rd minute the Broncos had their best chance of the match, but Fischer was able to make a huge save to keep the Terriers up 1-0.
- With less than a minute to go until halftime the Broncos had another attempt on goal but was once again saved by Fischer.
- Coming out of halftime with a 1-0 lead, the Terriers traded possession with the Broncos for the first 10 minutes of the second half.
- Neither team could generate a quality look on goal until the 71st minute, when the Broncos were awarded a direct free kick just outside of the Terriers 18-yard box.
- With the ball headed toward the top corner of the goal, Fischer dove to make an incredible save on the free kick to keep the Terriers in the match.
- With the Broncos desperate for a goal, they turned up the intensity, not allowing the Terriers any time with the ball.
- In the 84th minute Joshua Joseph was able to beat a defender on the left wing and found Robinson, who blasted the ball into the back of the net to essentially seal the game at 2-0.
- Despite the Bronco's best efforts, the Terriers held them to a shutout and in doing so were crowned the 2024 North Atlantic Conference Champions.
- After the game Fischer was named the 2024 NAC Tournament Most Valuable Player, making several huge saves on the road to the championship.
