Waterville, ME – Men's Basketball Dominated in Day One of the 2024 Charlie Ryan Classic, winning by a score of 89-55 against the Paul Smith's College Bobcats on Friday, November 15^th, 2024.

How it Happened:

• The Bobcats started off hot, jumping out to a 9-8 lead over the Terriers.
• Shortly after the Terriers went on a 12-1 run to put them up 26-14 thanks to 10 points from Jackson Ruelke.
• Six straight points from TJ Blackmon with four minutes left in the first half extended the Terrier lead to 34-21.
• The Terriers closed out the first half on a 6-0 run, with points from Shareef Jones, Isiah Corson, and Gianni Ungaro to make it 41-24.
• The Terriers started the second half how they ended the first, going on a 9-2 run from five points from Luke Briggs.
• The Terriers continued to dominate down the stretch, with Parker Desjardins hitting some tough layups and three-point shots to extend the Terrier lead to 22 points.
• With 10 minutes left in the game Ruelke emphatically dunked the ball to make it 67-43, summing up the day to that point.
• Later in the game Thomas Harvey, Faron Cureton, hit two three-point shots within minutes.
• Two tough layups from Landon Gabric with under a minute left helped the Terriers close out the game, earning a 89-55 win.
