Big Second Half Not Enough as Men’s Basketball Falls to Colby-Sawyer

New London, NH – Men's Basketball scored 49 points in the second half, but it wasn't enough as they fell 76-80 against the Colby-Sawyer College Chargers on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024.

How it Happened:
  • The Chargers jumped out to an 8-3 lead, despite an initial three-point shot from Camryn Yorke.
  • The Terriers were able to battle back, tying things up at 10-10 thanks to points from Luke Briggs, Jackson Ruelke, and Yorke.
  • The Chargers then went on another run, eventually making it 21-12.
  • The Terriers nearly tied things up again as TJ Blackmon's three-point shot brought them within three points.
  • The Chargers ended the half well, going on a 17-6 run to put them up 41-27 at halftime.
  • The second half was a much different story, with the Terriers going on an 8-0 run in the opening minutes.
  • Both teams traded points in the next few minutes to make it 51-55 with 10 minutes remaining.
  • Shortly after the Chargers went on a 5-0 run, which was answered with four straight points from Yorke.
  • Three Charger three-pointers within four minutes to make it 71-61, but the game wasn't entirely out of reach for the Terriers.
  • The Terriers responded with five straight points, but it wasn't enough in the long run as they eventually fell 76-80.
