Waterville, Maine - Terrier's Women's Basketball would try and bounce back in game two of the Terrier Tip-Off against the New England College Pilgrims but would be defeated in overtime by a score of 70-73 on Sunday, November 10th.

How it Happened: 

• The Terriers would start the first quarter with an early 13-2 run with points from Sky Kubwalo, Elena Alderman and Yaribel Pena. 

• The Pilgrims would try to cut into the Terriers lead near the end of the first quarter, but 5 late points from Mollie Gray would put the Terriers up 18-10 after one quarter of play. 

• NEC would make a run of their own in the second half and would tie the game up at 21-21 midway through the 2nd quarter. 

• The Terriers would try to reclaim the lead near the end of the half, but NEC would continue to respond to the Terriers offense, and would take a 29-28 lead at halftime.

• Both teams would go back and forth offensively in a tightly contested third quarter, but the Pilgrims would hold onto a 47-45 lead to start the fourth quarter.

• The Terriers would lead by three points late in the fourth and would try to run away with the game, but a NEC three-pointer with 17 seconds left would tie the game and force overtime.

• Kubwalo, Pena, and Deja Hamilton would try to keep the Terriers alive in overtime but would be unable to overcome the Pilgrims, being defeated by a score of 70-73.
