Lexington, MA – Men's Soccer earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw against the Lesley University Lynx on Tuesday, October 8
th, 2024.

How it Happened:
- It didn't take long for the Lynx to get on the board, as a low cross from a corner found the back of the net in the fourth minute to give the Lynx a 1-0 lead.
- In the 28th minute the Terriers had their first shot on goal, as Max Gilbert forced the Lynx goalkeeper to make a good save to preserve their lead.
- Both teams struggled to generate any clear-cut scoring opportunities in the first half, meaning the Lynx held the advantage at halftime.
- The Terriers turned up the intensity in the second half, generating three shots on goal in the first three minutes of the half.
- The Terriers finally were able to find the back of the net in the 62nd minute, as David Ivarsson and Max Gilbert found Joshua Joseph, who scored to tie things up at 1-1.
- Just four minutes later Micky Woodrow stepped up and scored a penalty kick to give the Terriers a 2-1 lead.
- However, in the 74th minute the Lynx would respond, scoring from a volley to tie things up yet again.
- The Terriers dominated the last 15 minutes of the match, generating several chances that were just wide.
- In the final 10 seconds of the game the Terriers hit the post or crossbar three times, as it just wasn't their day in the final third.
- Despite outshooting the Lynx 16-9, the Terriers walked away with a hard-fought 2-2 draw.
