Jamie Fischer finished with an impressive 10 saves and a shutout to lead Men's Soccer to a 1-0 win over the University of Southern Maine Huskies on Sunday, October 13
th, 2024.

How it Happened:
- The Huskies had the first good look on goal in the 6th minute, as a shot forced a decent save from Fischer to keep things level.
- In the 10th minute shots from David Ivarsson and Micky Woodrow forced two saves from the Huskies goalkeeper.
- In the 27th minute Zayin Clugh was able to blast shot past the Huskies from a tight angle to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
- The Huskies had the majority of the remaining chances in the first half but were only able to generate one shot on goal in that time.
- In the 53rd minute Ivarsson had another look on goal, but the Huskies goalkeeper came up with another save.
- The Huskies then generated eight shots over the next 15 minutes, but Fischer came up big to maintain the shutout.
- The Terriers had a flurry of chances in the 75th minute, shooting just wide on two attempts.
- The final opportunity for the Huskies to score came in the 83rd minute, as Fischer came up with his 10thsave of the afternoon to ensure the 1-0 victory for the Terriers.
