Waterville, ME – Women's Volleyball swept the Husson University Eagles in their annual "Senior Night" where they honored graduating players
Halle Ham and
MJ Rose on Friday, October 25
th, 2024.

Husson University: (6-12), NAC (3-3)
How it Happened:
- Both teams went back-and-forth through the first 10 points and was close early on.
- The Terriers then jumped out to a 4-0 and 6-0 run thanks to kills from Einy Mendez, MJ Rose, and Marissa Cates.
- The Eagles were able to chip away, but the Terriers took advantage from an attack error to earn a 25-17 first set victory.
- The Terriers opened set two with a 6-2 lead thanks to a handful of service aces.
- The Eagles were able to battle back to 9-10, but the Terriers responded with a 4-0 run and a kill from Mendez.
- Despite the close opening, the Terriers closed the set on an 8-3 run thanks to several Eagle attack errors to take a 2-0 match lead.
- Once again, the opening of the set was close, as the score was tied 10-10 early on.
- Two service aces from Ana Romero helped Thomas to five straight points to put them within two points of winning the match.
- Sariah Putnam earned the final point from a kill to complete the 3-0 sweep of the Eagles.
