Joseph Earns 100th Point as Men’s Soccer Rolls to 5-0 Win Over Lynx

Waterville, ME – Joshua Joseph earned his 100th point in a hat-trick performance as Men's Soccer rolled to a 5-0 win against the Lesley University Lynx.

How it Happened:  
  • The Terriers struck first, as Micky Woodrow scored from a rebound in the 4th minute to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
  • 13 minutes later the Terriers were awarded a penalty kick, and Joshua Joseph calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net to earn him his 100th career point.
  • With less a minute to go until halftime Adam Elkott weaved through two players and sent a perfect pass into Joseph, who scored his second goal of the game to give the Terriers a 3-0 lead going into halftime.
  • The second half started much like how the first half went, as Woodrow and Cody Robinson combined to find Joseph, who tapped the ball past the goalkeeper to secure a hat-trick.
  • In the 68th minute David Ivarsson sent in a corner kick that eventually found Isaiah Francis, then along to Payton Mitchell, who scored to make it 5-0.
  • The Terriers held the Lynx to very few quality scoring chances throughout the match, earning a shutout in the huge 5-0 conference win.
