Waterville, ME – The Terriers outshot the Eagles 18-10 and dominated the majority of the second half, but eventually fell by a score of 1-2 on Saturday, October 12
th, 2024.

How it Happened:
- The Eagles had their best quarter in the first, scoring within two minutes to take a 1-0 lead over the Terriers.
- Julia Reny was able to generate a shot on goal 40 seconds later that needed to be saved the Eagles goalkeeper.
- Five minutes in the Eagles scored again, taking a 2-0 lead.
- With five minutes left in the quarter the Terriers were awarded two penalty corners, and Kara Richards was able to score from a scramble in front of the Eagle net to make it 1-2.
- Both teams battled it out in the midfield in the second quarter, with both teams only generating two shots each.
- Neither team could find the finishing touch, and as a result the Eagles took a 2-1 lead into halftime.
- The Terriers turned up the intensity in the third quarter, dominating play and generating four good chances on goal.
- The Terriers continued their strong play into the fourth quarter, forcing the Eagles to make several defensive saves to keep them in the game.
- The best chances came in the final four minutes for the Terriers, as shots from Samantha Thebarge and Molly Littlefield needed to be saved.
- Despite dominating play in the second half the Terriers walked away with a 1-2 loss.
