Quincy, MA - In a conference matchup between Eastern Nazarene College and Thomas College, Brooke Jones and Hannah Coolen would both score 12 while Sky Kubwalo grabbed 13 rebounds, but it wouldn't be enough as the Terriers fell 58-65 in game one of the weekend double-header.

Eastern Nazarene College: Overall (8-8), NAC (3-4)
How it Happened:
- ENC jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead, but Thomas settled in and erased the lead leveling the game at 6-6, ENC then took over the quarter scoring 13 unanswered points to stretch the lead to 19-6.
- A three pointer and a mid-range jumper from Hannah Coolen would break the ENC run and end the first quarter with a 19-11 score in favor of ENC.
- The second quarter was a back and forth battle, as the Terriers fought to keep the lead from stretching.
- ENC would extend the lead to 17 points midway through the second. Thomas would fight back with a seven point run to cut the lead to 9.
- However, two late scores by ENC would see them take a 40-28 lead into the halftime break.
- In the third quarter the Terriers looked to spark a comeback, as Jones kicked off the scoring with a three-pointer followed by Kubwalo knocking down a pair of free throws and a layup.
- Bri Benecke and Coolen would follow up with layups of their own, and Elena Aldermen would pitch in with a 3 pointer. Midway through the quarter the lead had been cut to 45-41.
- The Terriers couldn't keep the hot hand and failed to score the rest of the quarter. ENC would take a 47-43 lead into the 4th.
- Thomas started the 4th quarter quickly, Coolen would score four quick points followed by a Jones jumper and all of a sudden the Terriers had a 49-47 lead. But the lack of consistency continued to hurt the Terriers as ENC would go on a 10-0 run to take control back.
- Thomas would get the lead as close as four points but in the end ENC would hold on for the win.

- The Terriers went 20-65 from the field (31%) 4-18 from 3 (22%) and 14-24 from the line (58%).

- The Terriers return to the court Saturday, January 12th when they travel to conference opponents Eastern Nazarene in a rematch of last nights game, tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM in Quincy, MA.
