Jack Thompson scored his first collegiate goal as Men's Soccer drew a talented Saint Joseph's College Squad 1-1 on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

How it Happened:
- The Monks got off to a quick start, finding the back of the net in the 6th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Terriers responded in the next three minutes with two shots that needed to be saved by Monks' goalkeeper Cristian Rodriguez.
- In the 16th minute, a flurry of three Monks corner kicks forced Terriers goalkeeper Beyden Stratton to make two important saves.
- In the 30th minute, the First Year Thompson converted a penalty kick to tie the game up at 1-1.
- The Terriers were unable to get another shot in the first half, with the score set at 1-1.
- In the 47th minute, Keein Wright had to make a save, and the Monks followed up by hitting the post two minutes later.
- The Monks hit the post again five minutes later and were unlucky to not take the lead.
- The best scoring opportunity in the second half for the Terriers was in the 75th minute, when a player had a shot blocker, then Carter Pelletier sent a shot that was just high of the Monk's net.
- Wright was forced to make another save in the 84th minute, which secured the 1-1 draw.
- The Terriers were outshot by the Monks 7-17, but nevertheless were able to get to the final whistle to secure their fourth draw in a row.
The Goalkeepers:
Two Terriers' goalkeepers saw time in net tonight. Stratton got the start, making three saves in 45 minutes. Wright played the entire second half, making five saves.
Rodriguez played the entire 90 minutes in net for the Monks and made three saves in the process.

The Terriers will take on Lesley University at home on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
