Box Score Waterville, ME – Women's Lacrosse took on the University of Maine Farmington Beavers on Thursday, April 13 at home and came out with a huge 18-8 win, giving the Terriers their first win on the 2023 season. Both
Sage Brown and
Mary LaRochelle hit four goals on the day, followed by a hat trick by
Anna Chadwick.

How it Happened:
- Brown immediately but the ball in the back of the cage after forty-five seconds during a free position
- After the Beavers tied up the game Sophomore Alia Chasse scored her first goal of the day, 2-1 Thomas
- UMF lead for the first and only time of the day with five minutes remaining in the first quarter after scoring two back-to-back goals
- LaRochelle was able to bring the game to an even three before the quarter ended
- The Terriers started extending their lead in the second quarter with two goals coming from Chadwick, score 7-4 at halftime
- Thomas added two more goals before the Beavers added their fifth, one by LaRochelle and the other scored by Samantha Snow
- Then three different Terriers added to the score with Lauren Bartlett, Scarlett Raymond-Ayer, and Molly Littlefield, 12-6 Thomas end of third quarter
- Thomas continued to expand their lead in the fourth quarter as Chadwick picked up her third goal, followed by two goals from LaRochelle
- Sophomore Emily Wallingford grabbed a goal for herself along with Brown rounding out her day with two more goals, final score 18-8 Thomas
