Waterville, ME - Women's Lacrosse hosted Maine Maritime Academy in the Terriers penultimate North Atlantic Conference match-up of the season on Tuesday, April 21st, but were unable to overcome the Mariners, falling by a final score of 4-17.

How it Happened:
- MMA claimed the momentum of the match early on, scoring a flurry of goals throughout the 1st to put the Terriers down 0-7 late in the quarter.
- The Terriers looked to apply pressure in the final minutes of the 1st quarter with shots on net from Katarina Olvera and Isabella Pelletier, but strong saves from the Mariners goaltenders kept the Terriers at bay, sending them into the 2nd trailing 0-7.
- Three strikes from the Mariners in the early minutes of the 2nd quarter extended the Terriers deficit to ten.
- However, the Terriers found a response with a man-up opportunity just minutes later, as Karissa Cotoia converted the Terriers' lone free-position attempt of the 2nd quarter to make it a 1–10 game.
- Despite another goal scored by the Mariners late in the 2nd, the Terriers closed the quarter on a high-note, scoring two late goals thanks to Olvera and Pelletier (assisted by Jorgie Arduini) to cut the Terriers deficit to eight heading into halftime.
- The Mariners continued to push the pace in the 2nd half, completing two strikes to extend the Terriers deficit.
- However, a nice run and finish on net from Olvera in the ensuing minutes made it a 4-12 game midway through the 3rd.
- The Terriers continued to generate attacking opportunities late in the 3rd with a free-position attempt and three shots, but were unable to capitalize, sending Thomas into the final fifteen minutes of play trailing 4–13.
- The Terriers continued to battle throughout the 4th, but four additional goals in the quarter from the Mariners ultimately put the game out of reach, as the Terriers fell to Maine Maritime by a final score of 4-17.
