Men's Lacrosse Falls to a Strong Johnson & Wales Team

Box Score Providence, RI – Men's Lacrosse took on Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island on Sunday, March 6th. The Terriers ended with an 18-3 loss against the Wildcats.
 
The Records:
Thomas College: Overall (0-2)
Johnson & Wales University: Overall (2-0)
 
How it Happened:
  • The Wildcats added their first five goals in the first quarter
  • They then added their sixth at the beginning of the second quarter
  • First Year Charlie Foster-Major scored his first goal of the season, unassisted, five minutes into the second
  • After the Wildcats added two more, Sophomore Timothy Worster scored his first goal this season in the last fifteen seconds of the quarter, his goal was unassisted as well.
  • After halftime Johnson and Wales scored two more goals to make the score 10-2
  • First Year Jack Morrill scored the Terriers final goal of the game unassisted ten minutes into the third quarter
  • Then the Wildcats put on two more goals in the third for a 12-3 game score
  • Their last six goals were scored in the fourth, for a final score of 18-3
 
Goalkeepers:
Daniel Guarino got the start for the Terriers and recorded a total of twelve saves. He was relieved by Patrick Buxton at halftime who ended the half with seven saves.
 
What is Next:
Men's Lacrosse will have their next game at Salem State University on March 15th with a 4pm start time.
