Box Score Waterville, ME – Women's Lacrosse played Maine Maritime Academy on Monday, March 27 as a non-conference matchup. The Terriers had the lead most of the game, but the Mariners came back taking the Terriers into overtime and ultimately grasping the 14-13 win.

How it Happened:
- The Terriers took a quick 4-0 lead with four different Terriers scoring in the games first five minutes
- The Mariners were able to get two goals before the half ended, along with a goal scored by Terriers Alia Chasse before the first quarter ended, 5-2 Terriers
- MMA was the first to score in the second quarter before Thomas went on a three goal run, two of the three scored by Graduate Student Lauren Bartlett
- Between the Mariners fourth and fifth goal Chasse picked up her third goal of the game, going into half time with the Terriers up 9-5
- Thomas was able to get their tenth goal coming out of the half by Anna Chadwick, but it was followed by six consecutive goals from the Mariners, who got their first lead of the game, 11-10 MMA
- Scarlett Raymond-Ayer and Chasse got the Thomas lead back at the start of the fourth quarter, but again the Mariners put up strong offense tying and leading again, 13-12 MMA
- Chasse got her fifth goal and tied up the game in the last two minutes taking the game into overtime with a tied score at 13
- MMA ended overtime quickly with a sudden-victory goal 30 seconds into OT, final score 14-13
