Box Score Waterville, ME – Men's Lacrosse played against Northern Vermont University – Lyndon on Saturday, March 25 for the Terriers 2023 season home opener. The Terriers walked away with a 23-4 win over the Hornets with five different Terriers scoring three goals.

How it Happened:
- The Terriers were able to score ten goals in the first quarter with six different Terriers scoring
- Ryan Foster, Max Irons, and Jack Morrill scored two goals along with Connor Hamilton racking up two assists all in the first fifteen minutes
- Thomas went back to it in the second quarter scoring eight goals, including Daniel Macwhinnie scoring two goals back-to-back at the end of the quarter
- William Heywood stated four assists in the second quarter along with a goal for himself at the start of the quarter
- After the Terriers were up 19-0 the Hornet scored their first and second goals of the game seconds apart from each other in the middle of the third quarter
- The Terriers entered the fourth quarter up 20-2, first to score in the final fifteen minutes was the Hornets adding their third goal to the board
- Thomas was able to add their final three goals in between the hornets final goal of the game, ending the game with a 23-4 score
Goalkeepers:
Patrick Buxton started in goal for Thomas playing the first two quarters ending with one save.
Daniel Guarino came in at the half making four saves against the Hornets.
