Box Score South Hadley, MA – Women's Lacrosse traveled to Mt. Holyoke College for their first away game of the season. The Lyons took the season opener win with a score of 12-5 over the Terriers.

How it Happened:

• The Lyons were the first to get on the board with two quick goals at the start of the first quarter
• Sophomore Alia Chasse was the first Terrier to get a shot on goal, with five minutes left in the first
• Before the first fifteen minutes could end Mt. Holyoke added two more, 4-0 Mt Holyoke
• At the start of the second the Lyons extended their lead by two more back-to-back goals
• Thomas was able to get on the board with their first goal of the season coming from sophomore Molly Littlefield, followed by another Terrier goal minutes later, scored by Chasse assisted by Scarlett Raymond-Ayer
• Mt. Holyoke did not let the two goals by the Terriers get to them as they added one more, making the game 7-2
• Sophomore Samantha Snow scored the Terriers third goal just under a minute left in the second quarter, 7-3
• Four more goals were score by the Lyons in the third, with Thomas unable to gain offensive momentum, 11-3
• The Lyons scored their final goal early in the fourth, 12-3
• The fourth quarter was when the Terriers could get their most shot attempts during the game, resulting in two goals scored, first by Sage Brown followed by Littlefield's second goal of the game, assisted by Anna Chadwick, 12-5

• Lizzy Gotay played in goal for the Terriers, ending with seven saves
