WATERVILLE, MAINE - The Thomas College Club Hockey team was overwhelmed by the Colby College Club Hockey team in their 2nd matchup of the year by a score of 9-3 on Thursday, December 7th.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Terriers would find the back of the net quickly with Senior Dylan Fortier scoring 8 seconds into the game off an assist from Senior Cameron Tower to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead. First Year Nathan Myers would score again for the Terriers just 6 minutes later to give the Terriers a 2-0 lead midway through the 1st period. But the Mules would shut the Terriers down, responding with 9 unanswered goals until First Year Jonah Bird scored the final terrier goal in the third period.
The Terriers would have 7 power-play opportunities throughout the game but were unable to capitalize on any of them.
WHAT'S NEXT: The Terriers will return to action on January 27th hosting the Central Maine Community College Mustangs at The Maine Ice Vault. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
