HALLOWELL, MAINE – The Thomas College Men's Club Ice Hockey team were defeated by the UMass Amherst Club hockey team by a score of 1-6 on Saturday, November 18th. 

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• The Minutemen would jump to an early lead scoring off a power-play with 11 minutes to play in the first period.

• The Terriers would have five power-play opportunities in the 1st period, but were unable to capitalize on any of them.

• The Minutemen would take a 1-0 lead after one period of play.

• Amherst would shut the Terriers down in the second period scoring four goals, giving the Minutemen a 5-0 lead after two periods of play.

• Graduate Student Michael Deveaux would score the Terriers lone goal off an assist from First Year Jonah Bird early in the third period.

• UMass Amherst would score a final goal in the final minutes of the third period to give them a 6-1 win over the Terriers
