HALLOWELL, MAINE – The Thomas College Men's Club Ice Hockey team were defeated by the UMass Amherst Club hockey team by a score of 1-6 on Saturday, November 18th.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Minutemen would jump to an early lead scoring off a power-play with 11 minutes to play in the first period.

The Terriers would have five power-play opportunities in the 1st period, but were unable to capitalize on any of them.

The Minutemen would take a 1-0 lead after one period of play.

Amherst would shut the Terriers down in the second period scoring four goals, giving the Minutemen a 5-0 lead after two periods of play.

Graduate Student Michael Deveaux would score the Terriers lone goal off an assist from First Year Jonah Bird early in the third period.

UMass Amherst would score a final goal in the final minutes of the third period to give them a 6-1 win over the Terriers
