Waterville, ME – Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Christopher Parsons is excited to announce the introduction of Kaitlyn Daly as the new Head Women's Lacrosse Coach. "I am so thrilled to add Kaitlyn to our coaching staff. Her experience as a high-level player and coach along with her passion for teaching the game makes her a perfect fit as our next heads women's lacrosse coach at Thomas College".
Daly was previously the head girl's lacrosse coach at Lawrence High School during the 2022-2023 season. In 2022 she graduated from Division II institute Franklin Peirce after playing four years of varsity lacrosse. She finished her collegiate career with 43 goals scored, 63 points earned, and 61 caused turnovers.
When asked about her thoughts on starting her collegiate coaching career at Thomas, Daly stated "I am most excited to share my love and knowledge of the game with the team. Coaching at the college level combines my passion for the game of lacrosse as well as mentoring and developing young athletes on and off the field. I am excited to develop a team with a family atmosphere and join Thomas' tight knit community".
Daly's first day was Tuesday, October 24th. The Women's Lacrosse Team will start their season on February 29
th away at Anna Maria College.
