Lyndonville, VT – Men's Soccer triumphed over Vermont State University Lyndon by a score of 12-0 in an impressive showing on Saturday, October 14
th, 2023.

How it Happened:
- Gabriel Fortuna opened the scoring two minutes in, as Joshua Joseph beat a defender and sent in a perfect cross to Fortuna.
- Beginning in the 29th minute, Andrew Poulin, Julen Zuidervaart, and Carter Pelletier all found the back of the net in the span of three minutes to make the score 5-0.
- In the 36th minute, Zuidervaart assisted on two goals in 27 seconds, as Patrick Moynihan and Poulin scored.
- The Terriers went into halftime with a 7-0 lead, and never looked back.
- Zuidervaart would strike again In the 50th minute, this time scoring an unassisted goal.
- Hunter Smith scored his second goal of the season in the 54th minute, being assisted by Joseph. Joseph again sent in a perfect cross, which found Smith.
- Jack Thompson, Isak Granstrom, and Pelletier would all go on to score in the remaining time.
- The final score was 12-0, as the Terriers outshot the Hornets 65-3 in a dominant performance.
- Zuidervaart, Poulin, and Pelletier all scored two goals, while Zuidervaart added three assists.
The Goalkeepers:
Two Terriers' goalkeepers saw time in net tonight.
Matthew Gosselin got the start, not needing to make any saves in 45 minutes.
Keein Wright played the second half, making one save.
Hornet goalkeeper Robert McDonald played the full 90 minutes, making an impressive 21 saves in the loss.
