JOHNSON, Vt. - Thomas softball continued their dominance, this time sweeping NVU-Johnson and ending their regular season on a seven-game win streak.

They got two more runs across home plate in the third inning when Dunphy stole home and Kaylee Fonseca (Seekonk, Mass.) singled to score Maddie Rock (Bridgton, Maine).

The Terriers cracked the game wide open in the fifth inning when Kasey Champney (Holland, Vt.) hit a grand slam and Dunphy hit another single to score Kelsey Currier (Cumberland, Maine). The game ended in the fifth inning, as Thomas led by an eight run margin.

Dunphy led the offensive efforts with three hits, two RBIs and one run scored. Currier and Champney both had two hits and scored two runs. Champney also had the four RBIs from her grand slam.
