WATERVILLE, Maine - Thomas men's tennis beat NVU-Lyndon for a second time this season on Tuesday, this time beating the Hornets 7-2.
The Terriers started out strong in doubles, sweeping all three matches.
Jose Afonso (Tenerife, Spain) and

Kegan Rodrigue (Auburn, Maine) and
Caleb Daigneault (Cornville, Maine) won at #3 by a score of 8-5.
Gould won the first singles point for Thomas at #2 beating Zach Falkenburg 6-2, 6-2. Gould had lost in a close two setter to Falkenburg at Lydon nine days ago. McPhail was the second to finish at #3 singles, winning 6-1 6-3.
Afonso pulled out a three set win at #1 singles over a tricky lefty in Patrick Wickstrom. Afonso won the first set 6-4 but Wickstrom came back to win the second set 6-2. Afonso was able to regain his form to take the final set 6-3 in the longest match of the day.
