DELHI, N.Y. - Thomas men's tennis lost 6-3 at SUNY-Delhi on Saturday, meaning they will have to travel again to SUNY-Delhi for the North Atlantic Championship.
The Terriers got off to a good start in doubles taking two out of the three points.
Jose Afonso (Tenerife, Spain) and
Gabe McPhail (Windham, ME) won 8-6 at #1 doubles while
Liam Gould (Freeport, Maine) and
Rajhan Munnings (Providenciales, Turks and Caicos) won 8-4 at #2 doubles.
Unfortunately for Thomas, the Broncos came out firing in singles, taking five out of the six singles points. McPhail won the one point for the Terriers at #3 singles, defeating Tyler Kemble 6-0, 6-4.
UP NEXT: Thomas will travel to SUNY-Delhi again next Saturday for the North Atlantic Championship, with the time to still be determined.
