BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - Thomas men's tennis fell in a non-conference match to Bridgewater State University 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bears started strong by sweeping the doubles to go up 3-0.
Gabe McPhail (Windham, ME) lost in a tight two setter at #3 singles, 6-4, 6-4.
Kegan Rodrigue (Auburn, Maine) had the match of the day at #5 singles. He dropped the first set 6-1 but did not give up fighting, turning things around and winning the second set 6-4. Since the match was already decided they played a 10 point tiebreaker for the third set, which Rodrigue lost 11-9.
UP NEXT: The Terriers will travel back to Massachusetts to play Salem State on Thursday with first ball scheduled for 3:30 p.m before hosting SUNY Delhi in a crucial North Atlantic matchup on Saturday.
