WATERVILLE, Maine - The Thomas Women's Tennis Team kicked off their season with a bang, beating Northern Vermont University - Lyndon 9-0 at Colby College. 

The Terriers did not drop a single set and only lost 10 games total as a team. The #2 doubles team of Taylor Davis and Morgan Williams and #3 doubles team of Cassidy Hamm and Renee Rossi jumped out to big leads in their matches and never looked back. 

In singles sophomore Kiara Goggin got the all important win at #1 singles beating Selena Porter 6-2 6-2. Freshman Riley Pierce got her first win of her collegiate career at #5 singles beating Devon Kibbey of the Hornets 6-0 6-0. 

The Terriers are back in action at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts on Tuesday at 3 pm.
