QUINCY, Mass. -  The Thomas Women's Tennis team edged out Eastern Nazarene College 5-4 on the road on Wednesday. 

Thomas started by taking two out of the three doubles points. Lauren Smith and Kiara Goggin won first doubles 8-2 while Riley Pierce and Magan Williams cruised 8-1. 

Smith continued her success in singles beating the Lion's #2 singles player Madison Rearick 6-1 6-0. Pierce squeaked out her first set at #4 singles 6-4 before cruising in the second set 6-1.  Goggin clinched the match for Terriers at #1 singles 6-1, 7-6. Goggin has yet to lose a match this season. Renee Rossi lost a hard fought battle at #6 singles to ENC's Delaney Walker 6-3 7-5. 

Thomas College travels next to NAC rivals Husson on September 9th for a 3:30 pm match.
