Biddeford, Maine - The Thomas Men's Soccer team avenged their 2019 loss to the University of New England on Saturday, beating the Nor'easters 3-1 behind a hat trick from junior
Eric LaBrie.
The Terriers came into the contest having lost two out of the last three meetings against UNE but wasted no time getting on the board. Just after five minutes into the first half LaBrie scored her first goal of the season and the night was assisted by freshman
Joshua Joseph.
LaBrie's second goal did not come until the opening minutes of the second half, scoring unassisted at the 46:03 mark. UNE was able to cut the lead in half at the 82nd minute but Thomas did not panic. LaBrie found the back of the net one last time in the dying seconds of the game to seal the Terriers win.
Thomas' next game is at home against cross town rival Colby on Tuesday at 7 pm. The last time they were able to beat the Mules was in 2015 on the road,
