JOHNSON, V.T. - The Thomas College Men's Soccer team earned their second North Atlantic Conference victory of the season over Northern Vermont University-Johnson, by a score of 2-0.
Thomas dominated the first half, out shooting the Badgers 12-1.
Timothy Worster (Mount Vernon, Maine) gave the Terriers an early lead, just inside the second minute.
Eric LaBrie (Yarmouth, Maine) increased the lead to 2-0, just before the tenth minute. Thomas continued to bombard Johnson's goalkeeper and the half concluded 2-0.
Thomas and Johnson traded many scoring opportunities in the second half, but they were unable to convert their efforts into goals. Goalkeeper
Jonathan LeClair (Belmont, N.H.) played an outstanding ninety minutes, earning his second shutout of the season. The Terriers dominated most to the match and out shot the Badgers 17-8. Thomas earned their second conference win of the season and the match concluded 2-0.
Next up the Terriers (4-1) will travel to SUNY-Canton (2-4-1) on Sunday, September 26 at 3:30 PM.
