Women's Tennis takes down USM

WATERVILLE, Maine - Women's Tennis cruised to a 7-2 win on Wednesday over the University of Southern Maine. 

The Terriers took two out of three doubles points, with Magan Williams (Oakland, Maine) and Riley Pierce (Watertown, New York) winning at No. 2 doubles while Renée Rossi (Randolph, Maine) and Cassidy Hamm (Pittsfield, Maine) won at No. 3. 

USM was able to take No.1 singles with Emma Nassif defeating Kiara Goggin (West Gardiner, Maine) 6-4, 6-0. Pierce won at No. 4 singles, winning her fourth consecutive singles match. She is now 6-2 in singles this year and has already won two rookie of the week honors. 

UP NEXT
The Terriers take their two match win streak on the road to Vemont this weekend where they will play three matches in three days They start on Friday at NVU-Johnson with a 1 pm start time to make up for a match earlier in the season. Thomas returns to NVU-Johnson on Saturday at 2 pm. They wrap up the weekend at NVU - Lyndon on Sunday at 1 pm. They beat NVU - Lyndon earlier this season 9-0.
