MILTON, Mass. - Thomas' Women's Tennis (3-4) dropped an 8-1 match to Curry College (2-2) on Friday afternoon.
The Colonels started the match by sweeping doubles and never looked back.
Renée Rossi (Randolph, Maine) and
Lauren Smith (Waterville, Maine) played well at No. 2 doubles against Cayla Osowski and Samantha Ferrara but eventually lost 8-5.
First year
Riley Pierce (Watertown, New York) won her third singles match in a row against Curry, winning at No. 3 singles 6-3 7-5 against Osowski. Each of her three wins has come at a different position, she had previously won at No. 4 and No. 5.

The Terriers play their last home match of the season against the University of Southern Maine on Wednesday at 3:30 pm.
