LYNDONVILLE, Vermont - The Thomas College Men's Soccer team earned their first conference victory of the season over Northern Vermont University-Lyndon, by a score of 8-0. The Terriers extended their winning streak to three.
Hunter Smith (Oakland, Maine) scored the first goal of the match in the 11th minute. Eight minutes later
Princiel Kunieki (Portland, Maine) scored a beautiful header of a corner kick.
Zenawi Bowen (St. Georges, Bermuda) went on to score three impressive goals in thirteen minutes, he tipped a cross pass in the 28th minute, headed a corner kick in the 30th, and scored on a penalty kick at 34th minute. John LeClair (Belmont, N.H.) played well in goal and the Terriers finished the first period leading, 5-0.
Joshua Joseph (Devonshire, Bermuda) started the second period and scored two goals in six minutes. Joseph beat the Lyndon goalkeeper with a brilliant move in the 52nd minute and a powerful kick form the top of the box in the 57th minute.
Christopher Williams (South China, Maine) scored the final goal of the match off a nice cross from
Shane Robinson (Devonshire, Bermuda) in the 82nd minute, Goalie
Jayce Nielsen (Kittery, Maine) saw two shots in goal and helped the Terrier's win the match, 8-0.
The undefeated Terriers extend their winning streak to three, outscoring their last three opponents by a margin of 13-2.
